BEIJING, April 8th –To implement the Decision on the Administration of Judicial Expertise which was enacted by the Standing Committee of the National people’s Congress, regulate the complaint handling work for the judicial expertise practice, and intensify the management and supervision of the judicial expertise practice, the Ministry of Justice has enacted the Measures on Handling Complaints against the Judicial Expertise Practice. On April 8th, 2010, Ms. Wu Aiying, Minister of Justice, signed Decree No.123 of the Ministry of Justice to issue the Measures on Handling Complaints against the Judicial Expertise Practice, which shall come into force from the day of release.
The Measures on Handling Complaints against the Judicial Expertise Practice applies to the complainants who bring forward the grievances to the judicial expertise institutions registered by the judicial administrative organs and the judicial expertise staff, as well as the complaint handling work of judicial administrative organs. At the same time, the Measures on Handling Complaints against the Judicial Expertise Practice has established the principle of handling the complaints of judicial expertise by classification, investigating according to law, combining punishment with education, and these measures have made specific stipulations on the work of complaints acceptance, complaints investigation, settlement and complaints supervision. The issue of the Measures on Handling Complaints against the Judicial Expertise Practice has a significant meaning in regulating the judicial expertise practice and promoting the development of the judicial expertise cause in accordance with law and in an orderly and sound manner.
